Alfano Elementary School hosted a Black History Month celebration themed “Then. Now. Next. The next 100 years starts with us.” The program brought together students, staff, and community members to honor Black history through performances and presentations.
Alfano Elementary School's teachers helped create energy and excitement for PARP month on Wednesday morning by leading an engaging assembly.
The entire student body of Alfano Elementary School gathered in the gymnasium on Tuesday, February 3 to celebrate perfect attendance achievements of a number of students.

Officer Justin Fernandez of the Suffolk County Police Department visited Alfano this morning to continue to build a positive rapport with Central Islip students on Wednesday.
His discussion was centered on the importance of internet safety and the dangers of vaping, opioids and cannabis.
