Musketeer Monday Part One: Eneida Davila

Musketeer Monday Part One: Eneida Davila

Meet Senior Office Assistant Mrs. Eneida Davila, one of the friendly, familiar faces you’ll encounter upon entering the main office at Mulligan Elementary School. This week, she is featured in Musketeer Monday!

Mrs. Davila is well-known to many in and around Central Islip Schools. She began working as a bilingual clerk in November 2013 and, in May 2014, accepted an invitation to join Team CI as a full-time employee.

During her tenure with CI Schools, Mrs. Davila spent seven years in the Central Islip High School Guidance Office. “Working in the Guidance Office was a great experience,” she said.

Now serving as Senior Office Assistant, Mrs. Davila handles a variety of duties and tasks. “I am able to serve our students and community daily,” she explained. “I answer phone calls and work with Suffolk Transportation Service to coordinate buses for after-school clubs. I also greet the parents of our new students.”

Mrs. Davila finds her job deeply rewarding, particularly when it comes to students. “Watching our CI students grow and become amazing young adults, serving our bilingual community, and being able to do all of this here at Mulligan are what I love,” she said.

Outside of work, Mrs. Davila enjoys spending quality time with her family, of whom she is exceedingly proud. “My husband, Felix, wears his heart on his sleeve and loves what he does to protect our kids,” she said. The couple enjoys taking long walks together.

The Davilas are a homegrown CI family dedicated to education and the community. Mrs. Davila and her husband have two children: Leilani, a 2019 graduate of Central Islip High School, and Ezekiel, a 2022 graduate. Mr. Davila also graduated from Central Islip High School in 1980, while Mrs. Davila is a graduate of neighboring Brentwood High School.

Mr. Davila works as a security guard at Mulvey, and their children have followed in their parents’ footsteps, working in education. Leilani is an aide at Morrow Elementary School, and Ezekiel is an aide at Mulligan Elementary School. “My children had amazing teachers throughout their school years, so much so that they chose educational careers as well,” Mrs. Davila said. “Everyone speaks so well of them, and I couldn’t be prouder of them and what the future holds for them.”

Mulligan Elementary School Principal Tim Lynam had high praise for Mrs. Davila: “Eneida Davila is generous with her time—always willing to help others and consistently going above and beyond. She demonstrates dedication and efficiency in all she does. She is valued and highly respected, and we are very fortunate to have her as part of the Mulligan School community.”
