Principal’s Message
Mrs. Carmen Vazquez - Alfano Elementary Principal
Welcome May!
As we enter this month and approach the final weeks of the school year, I want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to our entire school community. During the week of May 6, we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Join me as we thank our teachers for their dedication to our students. It would be a disservice not to acknowledge the incredible resilience and teamwork of our clerical and nursing staff.
To our wonderful and dedicated students, your dedication and enthusiasm throughout this academic year have been truly inspiring. You've embraced challenges, supported one another, and continued to grow academically and personally. As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we encourage you to finish strong while taking care of yourselves during this busy time.
To our parents and guardians, your partnership and support have been invaluable. Thank you for the countless hours you've spent helping with homework, attending school events, communicating with teachers, and encouraging your children through successes and challenges. The strength of our school community rests upon the foundation of your involvement and commitment.
May brings many important events, celebrations, and culminating activities. We look forward to honoring our students' achievements and watching them showcase the knowledge and skills they've developed throughout the year. Thank you for making this school year remarkable. Together, we've created a vibrant learning community where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Please keep checking for updates, as we have planned many exciting activities to celebrate your children. As we look forward to these last months of school, I implore you to remember where we started. We have come so far, reached many goals, and will undoubtedly continue striving for excellence.
