The leaves are turning color, the temperatures are beginning to fall, and the night sky is getting darker more quickly each day. Fall is here!
We have many things planned at Alfano Elementary this month. Our theme this year is #AlfanoGrows.   We are focused on the growth of our students and our entire faculty. Every day is a learning opportunity for all of us. During September, our faculty worked with our students on establishing routines and administering beginning-of-year assessments to determine areas for growth. We will be holding several assemblies on Fire Prevention and Kindness/Anti-Bullying. We will end the month with a fun and exciting Character Parade.
We will be practicing several safety drills this month. Please remember to dress your children appropriately for falling temperatures. We want all students to be safe and warm. Also, remember that it is essential to check your child's home folder for any important communication from our school. Please stay connected with your teacher via Email, Class Dojo, or Remind.
I look forward to another exciting month full of learning opportunities.
