The leaves are turning color, the temperatures are beginning to fall, and the night sky is getting darker more quickly each day. Fall is here!

We have many things planned at Alfano Elementary this month. We will continue our #AlfanoGrows theme. Our focus is student growth and our entire faculty and staff. Every day is a learning opportunity for all of us. During September, our faculty worked with our students on establishing routines and administering beginning-of-year assessments to determine areas for growth. Our teachers will continue to work with students to meet their goals and achieve growth in all academic areas while making learning fun.

This month, we will hold our annual Fire Prevention assemblies, an exciting Character Parade, and practice several safety drills. Please remember to dress your children appropriately for falling temperatures. We want all students to be safe and warm.

We encourage you to play an active role in your child's education. Please remember to check your child's home folder for important communication from our school. Also, please stay connected with your teacher via Email, Class Dojo, or Remind.
